Who I am
I’m Dr Feras Mahdi, a physician, healthcare executive and strategy advisor with more than 20 years of experience across healthcare and life sciences.
I am currently a Partner at Simon-Kucher based between Singapore and Dubai, advising healthcare and life sciences companies across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East on commercial growth, pricing, go-to-market strategy, new business models and transformation.
My perspective is shaped by having worked across multiple sides of healthcare. I have advised boards and senior executives, built and scaled consulting businesses, led a $50 million regional P&L, managed multinational teams, worked with governments on health-system transformation, and practiced medicine.
Across more than 25 countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, the common thread has been helping organisations make difficult strategic choices and convert them into measurable commercial and operational results.
What I Do
I work with boards, CEOs and leadership teams at moments where strategic and commercial decisions materially affect growth, enterprise value and patient access.
My work spans commercial and growth strategy, pricing and market access, go-to-market design, portfolio strategy, business model innovation and performance transformation. I have worked extensively with MedTech, pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations, as well as governments, investors and health-tech companies.
I am particularly interested in problems where healthcare economics, technology and strategy intersect: how companies capture the value of innovation, how business models need to evolve, and how data, digital health and AI can change the way healthcare is delivered and commercialised.
I also advise and mentor health-tech founders and regularly speak on healthcare innovation, digital health, AI and the evolution of healthcare business models.
