I was honored to serve as a panelist at SMU’s Odyssey 2025, sharing my journey as a Partner at L.E.K. Consulting. It was inspiring to engage with future leaders, exchange ideas on strategy and innovation, and contribute to shaping the next generation through mentorship and meaningful conversation

It was a pleasure to be part of the judging team at the Unboxing Day event hosted by VentureBlick, where 15 incredible Korean healthcare and fitness startups showcased their innovations. The event was part of the Global Market Expansion Program (GMEP), sponsored by KISED (Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development) .
I was also fortunate to have had the opportunity to lead a session on commercialization during the 6-week program and to dive deeper with several startups on their business models and go-to-market strategies. The diversity of the cohort was remarkable, ranging from badminton game management platforms and youth mental health solutions to biomechanics analysis systems and AI-powered CRO matching services

Dr. Mahdi shared valuable insights into transitioning from clinical roles to consulting, giving our participants actionable advice and strategies to thrive in consulting.
